The development of the tents are moving along in anticipation for the opening the first Friday of February.
Today we (design and computer science) met and gave a “show and tell” presentation to inform one another on what we have been working on in the last month. The meeting’s agenda was the following:

After Workshop III we decided to meet again to review the progess that the tent is taking as well as summarize what each person’s individual project within the project will be before meeting with the computer science students.
Janina and Judith both created models to further explore, and solidify, the direction we’ll be taking.

It was another full day of sketching and building prototypes for the main structure. Those in attendance were: Prof. Franziska Hübler, Jeremy Abbett, Judith Stryczek, Henryk Vaiza, Helene All, Svenja Keune, Janina Mertz, and Kathrin.
We built upon the work from Workshop II by refining the first two models further…

Tonight we met to kick-off the Ambient Intelligence/Awareness project between the departments of Design and Computer Science. Those in attendance were the following: Franziska Hübler, Jeremy Abbett, Kai von Luck, Gesa Torch, Hendryk Wollik, Helene All, Peter Radzuweit.
The overall goal of this joint project is to make the “room intelligent”.
